Thanks, Ed! Yes, that is definitely possible - MLB just hasn't released anything like that just yet. I heard a teaser for a "miss distance" metric today that would compare the location of the pitch to the location of the bat. That one seems like it is coming soon and would rely on the pitch trajectory/timing.
